Kenneth Anthony Klein

Kenneth Anthony Klein, 74, of Kansas City, Kansas, and life long Shawnee resident passed away Wednesday at his home.

Kenneth was born June 13, 1937, to the late John and Rose Klein in Lenexa, Kansas. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School. On February 4, 1967, he married Helen Neudeck in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kenneth was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing anything and everything. He was an avid reader and enjoyed lively discussions about economics, politics, science and current events. Kenneth was a faithful, devoted and hardworking family man.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Helen; three sons, Mitchell Klein, Thomas Klein, and Edward Klein and wife Kelly; a granddaughter, Katherine Klein; brothers and sisters Leonard Klein decd., Catherine Klein decd., Lucille Klein Garrett, Helen Dobbeleare, Mary Rose Rutan decd., Bernard Klein, Harold Klein, Raymond Klein, James Klein and numerous nieces nephews and friends.

Visitation and Prayer Service

Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 am Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A prayer service will follow at 10:30 a.m.
