Kenneth Redmond, 61, passed away peacefully May 9th, 2021 in his home in Shawnee, Kansas. He was born September 1st, 1959 in Lima, Ohio to James and Helen Redmond.
Ken graduated in 1977 from Fredericktown High School where he enjoyed playing football and pole vaulting where he held the record.
Ken worked for United Telephone Company of Ohio until he transferred to the Kansas City area with Sprint where he retired. He also worked for Ericsson.
He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan who bled scarlet and gray.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents James and Helen.
He is survived by his wife Judy; Children; Nickol Salva (Jerako), Tim Redmond (Samantha), Danielle Furnis (Shane), Lindsay Marcy (Stephen), and Tyler Powell (Natalie). He had several grandchildren and two great grandchildren that he loved dearly.
