Larry Denzil Huddleston, 65, of Shawnee, KS passed away May 8, 2014. He was born April 5, 1949 in Essex, MO to Denzil and G. Faye (Reynolds) Huddleston. Larry was born and raised in Southeast Missouri then moved to Kansas City in 1992. He graduated from Ellisnore High School in 1967. On June 30, 1967 he was united in marriage to Velma Jean Cowart. To this union two children were born; one son on Sept. 5, 1968, Larry Dean and on Oct. 9, 1972 one daughter Lisa Jean. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, his children, and 4 grandchilren; Eden Weber, Larry Shane, Kurtis & Brandi Welch, one great-grandchild, Holton Weber, and by his sister Debra Morgan. Larry enjoyed the open road on his motorcycle and Corvette. He was a proud road captain for the Christian Motorcycles Association. Larry will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His gentle spirit and big heart will live on through his family.

Visitation

A visitation will be held Sun. May 11th from 1 to 3 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory.
