Larry R. Mcconn

Larry R. McConn of Olathe, KS., passed away on June 24, 2016 at his home with his brother by his side. Larry was born in Kansas City, KS. Oct. 26, 1947 to Rene and Fred McConn. He graduated from Queen of the Holy Rosary High School and lived in KC for most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Armed Forces and worked as a mechanical engineer. He later studied botany where he discovered his passion for gardening. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael McConn and father Fred M. McConn. He is survived by his mother Rene McConn of Shawnee, KS, his wife Roberta McConn, brother Freddy McConn, five children Brian Ricker, Candy McConn, Erin McConn, Cherish McConn, Preston McConn and nine grandchildren David, Christopher, Michaela, Mackenzie, Billy, Nicholas, Denzel, Caitlin and Riley. Dad was our rock and he was loved so much. He will be truly missed.

Visitation 10:00-11:00 am July 5, 2016 @ Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS, with a Funeral Service to immediately follow. Burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
