Larry Evan Tolman

Larry Evan Tolman, 66, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away August 6, 2013 at his residence. Larry was born September 17, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lloyd E Tolman Jr. and Lorene May Nickerson. He was a retired Deputy Chief for the Mission Police Department. Larry was in the Kansas City Metro Squad Major Case Investigators, Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Associations, International Association of Chiefs of Police, he was a Mason and a Shiner, member of Kansas Associaton of Chiefs of Police, and Kansas Peace Officers Association. Larry was a veteran of the Vietnam War while serving in the United States Navy. He also had numerous other accreditations and associations. He is survived by his sons; Larry Michael and L. David Tolman (Patricia Perkins), nephews; Cameron Hartl, Chris Hartl, Leonard Tolman, grandchildren; Carver and April Tolman. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia Tolman.

A visitation has been scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A Funeral service has been scheduled for 10:30 am, Saturday at the Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Burial will be at Reddick Cemetery in Garfield, Arkansas.
