Laura Hill

Laura Hill, of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at her home. She was born November 5, 1923 in Plymouth County, Iowa. She spent her childhood on a family farm predating all modern conveniences and fondly passed along stories of those years with family and friends throughout her entire life. She was an avid gardener, reader and seamstress. She contributed her time sewing for others, especially sewing small bags for patients at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was a loving wife and mother, preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hill, and survived by her 3 children; Barbara Leeper of Dallas, Texas, Butch and Robin Hill of Shawnee, Kansas, Tresa Hill and Don Mayberger of Lawrence, Kansas and grandson Riley Hill of Cloverdale, Calif.
