Laura Jane Johnson, 87, Lenexa, Kansas passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Lakeview Village Care Center.
Laura is survived by her husband Richard, one sister Doris Mclane, Laurie, Missouri; one brother James (Dorothy) Tarr, Arvada, Colorado and 15 nieces and nephews. Laura was employed by the Federal Government until she retired in 1981. She was also a member of Bristol Hill United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Heart of America 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, Kansas 66208 or the church of donor’s choice.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2009 at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas.
