Lauretta Yates

Lauretta (Trabon) Yates of Lakeview Village, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

Lauretta was born May 27, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri, and married Carl V. Yates, who preceded her in death in 1967. Her life was attached to her most beloved dog Buddy, who was her constant companion. She and her companion, Luther Manes, traveled all over the world.

Lauretta was a secretary before her retirement. She loved music and dancing. She was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Prairie Village, Kansas for 36 years.

She leaves behind nieces and nephews, John (Donna) Cowdrey and Gary (Constance) Cowdrey, Rosalie (Tom) Karczewski, and Bill (Joan) Trabon, and many great nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 13615 W. 92nd Street, Lenexa Kansas 66215.

Funeral Service

A funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Monday, September 13, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
