Lavaughn E. Scott

LaVaughn E. Scott, 86, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away August 24, 2011, at Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas.

LaVaughn Ostendorf was born March 5, 1925, in Gothenburg, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Scott, a son Stephen Scott, and brothers Stanley and Raymond Ostendorf. LaVaughn is survived by her daughter Donna Myers and husband Ralph; son Larry Scott and wife Kay; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister Betty Mercer.

The family would like to thank Lakeview Village and staff for their loving care and assistance.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with the funeral service following at 1:30. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
