Leann F. Guy

LeAnn Frances Guy, 61, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 4, 2010, at her home.

LeAnn was born May 25, 1949, to Raymond and Mary Ellen (Botkin) McLenon. She earned her M.Ed. from the University of Kansas. LeAnn taught drama and english at Shawnee Mission Northwest and then transferred to Shawnee Mission South for the remainder of her 32 year teacher career.

LeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Wayne Spoor and brother, Mark R. McLenon. Survivors include her sister, Monica Baier and her husband, Bob, Florence, Texas; sister-in-law, Mary McLenon, Overland Park, Kansas; cousin, Robert Hagen, Overland Park, Kansas; niece Lisa Crane, her husband, Les and their children, Megan and Chase Crane; and nephew, Christopher McLenon.

Memorial Service

Memorial service will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Visitation will follow the service.
