Lela L. Zickefoose, 82, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away on June 24, 2016. Lela was born February 9, 1934 in Reading, Kansas to Orloff and Doris Phillips. Lela graduated from Emporia High School and Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. She devoted her entire life to her loving husband, and raising her children. Lela is survived by her children; Alyson (Larry) Hisky, Greg Zickefoose and Bret (Wendy) Zickefoose, grandchildren; Dillon, Logan, Madison, Marina, Hunter and one great-grandchild on the way. Lela was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob in 2013 and brother, Lee Phillips.

Services

Visitation is set for 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Funeral Service is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, July 1, 2016 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
