Leo C. Riehle

Leo Charles Riehle, 85, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away March 18, 2009.

Leo was born January 7, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl and Agnes Fischer Riehle. Leo retired from the USAF, from Southwestern Bell after 38 years, was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Shawnee American Legion, Trailblazers, and Fighter Group #506.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by his sisters, Elizabeth McDonough, Marie Campion, Loretta Taylor, and Helen Jean Buchmueller, by his brothers Carl and Joseph Riehle, and by his son David Charles Riehle. Leo is survived by his wife Dorothy Riehle, his son Thomas Leo Riehle (wife Traci), his sister Florence Dyche, by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Memorial Service

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, March 21, 2009, with a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Private family graveside services will be held later at Resurrection Cemetery.
