Leona VonFeldt, 96, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the Kansas City Hospice House.
Leona was born May 26, 1914 in Vincent, Kansas. She was married to Alfonse VonFeldt in 1934. He preceded her in death in 1972. Leona was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Larry VonFeldt, Overland Park; two granddaughters, Debbie Neill and husband Jerry, Shawnee, Darla Flanagin and husband Marlin, Emporia; four great-grandchildren, Lindsey Timmons and husband Matt, Gardner, Kansas, Shannon Neill, Shawnee, Kansas, Danielle Flanagin, Emporia, Kansas and Nathaniel Flanagin also of Emporia, Kansas.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145.
Graveside Service
Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria, Kansas.
