Lois C. Smith

Lois Catherine Smith, 85, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away September 2, 2009.

Lois was born October 3, 1923, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Claude and Barbara Helfrey Morrison. She lived in the Kansas City area most or her life. She retired from Pyramid Life Insurance in 1983 and was a member of Holy Trinity Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan J. Smith in 1990 and by two daughters, Barbara Laws in 1988 and Dianne Carney in 1993. She is survived by three grandchildren, Patricia Leihy Williams, Charlene Kuepper, and Paul Carney. She is also survived by seven great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside Services

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at the St. Mary Cemetery in Louisburg, Kansas.
