Lois J. Webb

Lois J. Webb, 81, of Shawnee, KS passed away surrounded by her family on February 13th, 2019. She was born on August 22nd, 1937 in White City, KS on the family farm to Carl and Amanda Kniebel. Lois was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in White City, KS on June 10th, 1951. She attended Baxter School Rural White City through 4th grade and graduated from White City High School in 1955. On April 24th, 1960, Lois married Jack Webb at Zion Lutheran Church in Latimer. Lois was very active with The Zions Lutheran Ladies Aid and worked at The Bank of White City before moving to Shawnee, KS in 1985. While in Shawnee, Lois became a member of Hope Lutheran Church and worked for Shawnee State Bank and Mission Bank before retiring in 1999. Some of her favorite hobbies included golfing with Jack at Shawnee Golf & Country Club, fishing, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandkids. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Arlene Johnson and Twila Theel; and brother, Charles Kniebel. She is survived by her husband, Jack; sons, Terry Joe Webb and Corby (Linda) Webb; grandchildren, Madeline, Branden, Alexis and Jackson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 23rd at Zion Lutheran Church, 106 Main St, Latimer, KS 67449.
