Louis R. Newport

Louis R. Newport, 80, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away July 16, 2022 with his wife by his side. He was born July 27, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to Richard and Mildred Newport.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents and his son Richard Newport. He is survived by his wife Florence Newport; daughters Beverly (Gary) Huff, Regina (Bill) Fehr and daughter-in-law Kelly Newport; sister Wilma Newport (Pittsburg, Ks); sister-in-law Frances Marks (Sebring, Florida); six grandchildren William Fehr (Bre), Shawn Fehr (Katie), Bryan Huff (Cristy), Jennifer Huff, Jessica Franklin (Brian), Louie Newport; 8 great grandchildren Vander Huff, Vera Huff, Cassidy Theleman, Jett Termini, Sage Fehr, New Baby Sister (to be named), Ruby Franklin & Watson Franklin; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at Open Door Baptist Church, 3033 N 103rd Terrace, Kansas City, KS 66109.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation be made to Kidney foundation (in loving memory of his son Dick Newport) 6405 Metcalf Ave #204 Overland Park KS 66202
