Lu Irene Brown

Lu Irene Brown, 87, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Lakeview Village Health Center.

Mrs. Brown was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a resident of Lakeview Village’s Northpoint and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a past president of the National Doll Association. She is also remembered for her rolls in the Barn Players theater productions. Besides her family and church, these were her two most avid interests: antique dolls and theatre.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Berge Mesa, Arizona; a son, Douglas Bryant, Moorpark, California; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests donations to the Arthritis Foundation or Juvenille Diabetes Association.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the church.
