Luke Anthony Kneisler, 55, Lenexa, KS passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home. Luke was born on August 1, 1965 to Charles Lewis and Jo Ann Clarice (Fleming) Kneisler in Wichita, Kansas. Luke was a very humble, kind and generous man. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army - Airborne and served for three years. He was an extremely hard worker and spent most of his career as an insurance adjuster handling simple insurance claims to deploying to catastrophic disasters across the country. Towards the last decade Luke dedicated his life to care for our homebound parents until their passing. Luke was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts & uncles. Survivors include his Uncles James (Evelyn) Kneisler & Anthony (Tony) Recktenwald: Aunt Kathleen Fleming; brothers, Matthew (Shannon), Mark, John, Christopher (Nancy), and Andrew Kneisler; sister, Kathleen (John) Haeker; and many nephews and nieces whom he loved more than they will ever know. Luke has numerous loving cousins and very dear friends whom he was able to share many fond moments with throughout his life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00pm, Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 W 75th St, Shawnee, KS 66216; inurnment in the Resurrection Catholic Columbarium. To view the service live please CLICK HERE
