Lynn Marie Graham

September 12, 1967 — May 29, 2020

Lynn M. Graham, 52, of Edwardsville, KS passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her home.

Lynn was born September 12, 1967 to Richard and Dolores Kastel in Chicago, IL.  After high school Lynn earned a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana.  While at U of I, a friend shared the good news of Jesus and Lynn surrendered her life to the Lord. Lynn married Rodd Graham on November 25, 1995 at Community Covenant Church in Shawnee, KS.  She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, family member and friend.  Lynn will be remembered for her love for Christ and selfless spirit.

Lynn was involved in all aspects of her children's lives.  She devoted countless hours to Special Olympics, Bonner Springs Band Boosters, and Scouts.  Lynn was kind, encouraging and saw the best in everyone. She unfailingly put others first.  Lynn served as the office administer at the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church where she served her community well.  She was an active member of Crossroads Christian Church, a Stephen Minister and a Naomi Project mentor.  Lynn also found time to enjoy other personal interests and hobbies.  She was an expert cook, gifted crafter and accomplished musician.

She is survived by her loving husband Rodd Graham; her children, Rachel Lynn; Rebecca Lynn; Ryan Lewis; her parents, Richard and Dolores Kastel; sisters, Sharon (Gerry) Mueller; Susan (Chris) Scorzo; Donna (Mark) Morrison and Julie Kastel.  She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Todd and Ginger Graham; brothers-in-law Russell (Debbie) Graham and Randall (Chantel) Graham; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Jens) Gregory; and nieces and nephews, Katie, David, Daniel, Olivia, Kai, Eve, Ivan and Ellen.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 5 at Crossroads Christian Church, 5855 Renner Rd., Shawnee, KS 66217.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at the church and will be streamed live on the Crossroads Christian Church Facebook page.
