Lynn Moore

Lynn Moore, 64, Shawnee, KS passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at her home.

Lynn was born Oct. 10, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to Charles E. and Mary Lou Carroll. She was a graduate of Argentine High School and KCKCC. On March 1, 1973, Lynn married Michael Moore at Ruby Avenue Congregational Church, Kansas City, KS. She was an active member of Shawnee United Methodist Church and Church of the Resurrection West. She was an avid fan of her son's and grandchildren's activities.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Michael Moore; two sons, Scott (Julie) Moore and Kirk (Jodee) Moore all of Shawnee, KS; sister, Janet (Rick) Newton, Spring Hill, KS; five grandchildren, Cole, Emma, Cody, Macee and Olivia; and many other relatives.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm, funeral will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, Jan. 30 at the Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe, Leawood, KS 66224. There will be a Celebration of Life from 12-4 pm, Sunday, Feb. 1 at the Shawnee Town Hall, 11600 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS.

Lynn co-founded Warrior Women of Kansas City, an ovarian cancer support group and would like contributions in lieu of flowers, c/o Warrior Women, 1039 E. Oakview St., Olathe, KS 66061.
