Margaret Lucille Del Percio

May 6, 1923 — December 6, 1941

Margaret Lucille (Connor) Del Percio was born May 6, 1923, to Ralph and Aline Connor and was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. Lou, as Margaret was known to family and friends, attended Bryant Elementary School and was a member of the class of 1941 at Wyandotte High School.

Lou and Nicholas Del Percio married on December 6, 1941, and were married for 70 years. Lucille and Nick had four children: Michael, Kathleen (Cansler), Richard and Donna, all of whom survive their parents. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Aline; step-father Johnny Jones; two brothers, Donald and Robert; and a sister, Wanda. She is survived by her sister Virginia Pace.

Lou was a stay-at-home mom throughout her life, with a brief respite when she worked at TG&Y, a time she fondly remembered. Lou and Nick traveled extensively in the southwest and western United States, with many trips to Las Vegas and San Francisco. Lucille had a love for the casinos in Las Vegas and later in Kansas City, spending many hours at the Argosy.

Margaret Lucille Del Percio will be missed by us all as she travels to continue her union with her husband Nick.

Lou, thank you from your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and friends for all the love, care and attention you gave through the years. Goodbye, we miss you.

A private service will be held for Mrs. Del Percio at a later date.
