Margie Lou (Williams) Voiles

Margie Lou (Williams) Voiles, 93, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by family after a brief illness.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m., at Shawnee United Methodist Church, 10700 Johnson Drive; burial immediately following in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.

Margie was born on November 3, 1929, to Tom and Luella (Farier) Williams in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up mainly in Shawnee, KS, and married Jack Voiles in 1949. They lived in Shawnee and raised three children. Margie retired from Procter & Gamble after a long history there. She was very active at Shawnee United Methodist Church and also served for many years as a volunteer at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission before relocating to Phoenix, AZ, in her later years. She loved her family and helping others, and she was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Voiles, her brother Eugene Williams, her sister Judy Cripps, her grandson Brett Tiemeier, and her parents.

Survivors include her brother Darrell Williams of Paola, KS, her children, John (Tracy) Voiles of Tucson, AZ; Marc Voiles of Olsburg, KS; and Denise Voiles of Phoenix, AZ, plus grandchildren Paul (Lisa) Voiles of Houston, TX; Kyle (Petra) Tiemeier of Tucson, AZ; and Dane (Rebecca) Tiemeier of San Diego, CA, as well as great-grandchildren Jack and Ella Voiles of Houston.
