Marian Lee Conner

Marian Lee Conner, 90, Leawood, Kansas, passed away August 25, 2013, at Delmar Gardens in Overland Park.

She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Henry and Marian Darby in 1923. Marian graduated from Shawnee Mission High School and attended Kansas State University. She was married to Charles L. Conner for 34 years until his death in 1984.

Marian was a past president of Missouri Women’s Golf Association and member of Hillcrest Country Club. She was also an avid bowler and world traveler.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Conner, Los Angeles, California; sons, Steven (Janet) Conner, Avon, Connecticut, and Scott Conner, Leawood, Kansas; grandchildren, Laura Conner, Avon, Connecticut, Sean (Liz Finch) Conner of Chicago, Illinois, Alexandra Conner, Mission, Kansas and Nicole Conner, Plano, Texas; and sister, Anne Scott, Houston, Texas.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August, 28, 2013, at Amos Family Funeral Home
