Marian S. Davis

Marian Stillinger Davis, 85, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away October 25, 2012.

Marian was born November 7, 1926, in Spokane, Washington, to Charles and Nettie Mae Stillinger. She lived her school years in Moscow, Idaho. She moved to Kansas City in 1954 after being united in marriage to Harold Davis.

Marian had a love of swimming, boating, flower gardening, oil painting, music and singing. In her later years she traveled extensively with her husband throughout the United States and Europe. Because of her way of making people feel comfortable, Marian had many friends of all ages and walks of life.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold (Dave) E. Davis; daughters, Sheri Davidson of Springfield, Missouri and Renee L. Davis of Independence, Missouri; and four loving grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, Andrew, and Samuel.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. A reception will follow the service.
