Marie Burger

Marie Burger, 48, of Shawnee, KS passed away suddenly on November 2nd, 2020.  Marie was born in Manhasset, New York on February 9th, 1972 to James and Eileen McInerny.  She received a Bachelors Degree from the College of Charleston, SC.  She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Matt, her two daughters, Madeline and Grace, stepson, Michael, her parents, a sister Chris-Ann Evans (Mark), nephews Jonathan and Andrew, and many members of her extended family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th from 6-8 PM at Amos Family Funeral Home.  A rosary will be prayed prior to the visitation at 5:45 PM.  Please be aware Amos Family Funeral Home is only available to accommodate 45 people in their chapel at one time during the visitation.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart of Jesus, 5501 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, KS 66226 on Saturday, November 7th at 10 AM.  Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, KS.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Marie’s generous volunteer spirit, the family suggests donations or volunteer efforts with the organization of your choice.
