Marion Kay May, 75, of Olathe, KS, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015 at Aberdeen Village. She was born on April 8, 1940 in Nevada, MO to Leonard and Nadine (Crews) Smith. Marion is preceded in death by husband, Mel May and granddaughter Jaime Kay Hitt. She is survived by her children, Terri (Dennis) Hitt, Brenda (Todd) Miller and Fred May; sisters Cindy Shields, Karen Smith; grandchildren Brandon Hitt, Marissa Hitt, Kelli Williams, Lauren Williams; great grandchild Brayden Hitt. Marion had numerous hobbies including gardening, sewing, crafting and shopping. Her passion was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and her dog Annie.

Services

A funeral service will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8 at 1:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, KS.
