Marjorie May Harnden

Marjorie May Harnden, 93, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.

Marjorie was born in Aurora, Illinois, to Albert and Cloie Donnell. She was a veteran of the US Army Nurse Corp during WWII. She continued nursing in many different aspects during her career, retiring in 1980.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bernard N. Harnden in 1985. Survivors include her four children, Janean Bowen and husband, Dan, Atchison, Kansas, Michelle Hickman and husband, A. Wes, Naperville, Illinois, Roggy Harnden and wife, Lorrie, Leawood, Kansas and Bryan Harnden, Leawood, Kansas; six grandchildren, Dan, Julie, Adam, Rachel, Christy and Neal; and seven great grandchildren, Danny, Nicholas, Addison, Austin, Sofia, Noah and Della.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Margie's Life will be 7-9 pm, Saturday, August 27, 2011., at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
