Mark Howard Millikan, 51, Shawnee, KS passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his home.
Mark volunteered to raise money for many organizations, such as Kansas City Hospice House, Battered Women's Shelter and Abused Children, Cure for Head Injuries, Cancer Society and others. He was a member of the County Protective Assoc. (Horse League). Mark also had many hobbies. He loved NASCAR and when he was younger, he had his own race car (3) and raced at the I-70 Speedway. He loved to fish, camp and spend time with those he loved. Mark enjoyed barbequing and was on the BBQ team "For Meats Sake". He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mark is survived by his mother and step-father, Elaine and Frank Jones, Shawnee, KS; father, Don Millikan, Yuma, AZ; siblings, Julie (Mike) Jahn, Omaha, NE and Jeff (Becky) Millikan, Mission, KS; two nieces, Allie (Ben) Lockwood, Topeka, KS and Anna Jahn, Omaha, NE; five nephews, Sam Millikan, Austin, TX, Matthew Jahn, Daniel Jahn, Peter Jahn and Paul Jahn all of Omaha, NE; great niece, Vivion Lockwood, Topeka, KS; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be 12-1:30 pm Saturday, June 27 followed by a funeral service at 1:30 at the First Baptist Church of Shawnee; burial in the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to either Make-a-Wish Foundation Kansas City Regional Office, 7000 W. 105th St., Overland Park, KS 66212 or Cancer Action, 1600 Washington Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66102.
