Marsha N. Stillions

October 26, 1943 — June 5, 2010

Marsha Nadine Cronin Stillions, 66, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away June 5, 2010, after a short courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Marsha was born October 26, 1943, in Garden City, Kansas, to Floyd William Cronin, Sr. and Thelma May Rundell Cronin. She was raised in the Pierceville community and graduated in 1961 from Pierceville High School. She attended Fort Hays College and chose to participate in a work study with the FBI in Washington, DC where she met her future husband Edward Stillions. They raised four children together, Deb Geist and husband, Doug and sons Daniel Roberts and David Roberts, both of Lawrence, Kansas, Bill and wife, Christa and sons Cameron and Cody Ball of Shawnee, Kansas, Carri Basinski and husband, Ben and children Addison, Cayden, Grayson and Hadley Marsha of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Ray and wife Inge and children Liam and Elle of Bonner Springs, Kansas.

Marsha had a large close family with one sister, Mada and Zearl Walker, Garden City, Kansas, and four brothers, Floyd and Moleta Cronin of Pierceville, Kansas, Loren and Sherry Cronin of Coldwater, Kansas, Jon and Sylvia Cronin of Dodge City, Kansas, and Louis and Lynne Cronin of Dwight, Illinois. She was a proud and supportive aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Ed and Marsha lived in Oberlin, Kansas or 16 years before moving to Shawnee, Kansas in 1984. She finished her degree at Webster College and was an office administrator for several doctor offices before her retirement. She attended most events her grandchildren, nieces and nephews participated in and was an avid KU Jayhawk fan.

She was preceded into heaven by her parents and in-laws, Bill and Dora Stillions and Victor and Louise Nemeth.

Visitation and Service

Visitation will be at from 6 to 8:00, Monday, June 7, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Mill Creek Community Church. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, Kansas.
