Martha M. Hauser

Martha M. (Fanning) Hauser, 86, Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Brookdale of Rose Hill, Shawnee, KS.

Martha was born Feb. 10, 1932 in Lenexa, KS to Leo and Eugenia (Rosner) Fanning. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. On August 29, 1953 Martha married Patrick G. Hauser at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS. She was an office manager for Hauser and Engel Construction Co. for many years.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick on March 11, 2015, daughter, Catherine Baska, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Harding, Shawnee, KS; four sisters, Virginia Mackey, Olathe, KS, Pat Archer, San Jacinto, CA, Rita Summers, and Florence Campbell, both of Shawnee, KS; two brothers, Jim Fanning and Jerry Fanning, both of Shawnee, KS; three grandchildren, Benjamin (Sarah) Baska; Melissa Baska, and Ryan Harding; and five great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home, where a rosary recitation will be at 6:00 p.m.
