Marvin Burnell Harmon, 90, of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away on December 9, 2016. Marvin was born January 23, 1926 in Hamden, Missouri to Burnell and Mural Harmon. Marvin was a WWII Navy Veteran aboard the USS Princeton. He worked for AT&T for 30 plus years before retiring in 1985. Marvin is survived by his wife, Evelyn, children; Debbie (Karl) Harris, and Alan (Patsy) Harmon, sister; Georgie Copeland, Marjorie Sportsman, Leona Payne, four grandchildren; Travis Hill, Niki Henry, Katie Fanning and Eric Harmon. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, sister, June Munden, brother, Elwood Harmon.

Services

A Visitation is set for 12:00 ~ 1:00 PM, Monday, December 12, 2016 at The Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens in Shawnee, Kansas.
