Marvin L. Moore

Marvin L. Moore, 76, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away May 17, 2010.

Marvin was born February 13, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Forrest and Donna Moore. Marvin was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed helping his family and attending their activities. He will be remembered for his heart of gold, bright smile, twinkle in his eye, and his kind words.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Pat Moore in 2004.

Survivors include a brother Donald (Gayle) Moore; son, Jeff (Susan) Moore, Woodstock, Georgia; three daughters, Lynette (Ron) Taylor, Shawnee, Kansas, Janet (Rick) Nickel, Weatherby Lake, Missouri, and Tricia (Calvin) Keyes, Shawnee, Kansas; nine grandchildren: Eric (Debbie), Brie (Steven), Dustin, Brian, Erin, Hannah, McKenna, Jansen, and Shelby; and one great-grandchild, Cole.

Memorial contributions in Marvin's memory may be made to the Marvin Moore Memorial Fund.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral service will be held 7:30 p.m., cremation to follow services.
