Marvin E. Piercy

Marvin E. Piercy, 84, of Roeland Park, KS passed away, Saturday, January 26, 2019. Marvin was born September 19, 1934 in Johnson City, TN. He operated Piercy's Tree Service until his retirement. He was an avid Kansas City Royals fan.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet Piercy; a son, Johnnie Piercy; daughters, Cheryl (Tom Johnston) Beggs-Johnston and Linda (Bill) Herpich; his grandchildren, Jason Piercy, Jesse Piercy, Dylan Beggs, Patrick Herpich, Alex Johnston and Connie Johnston and his great grandchildren, Ruby, Keaghan and Norabelle.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
