Mary Lou Andre

Mary Lou Andre, age 77, passed away March 28, 2013, at Shawnee Gardens Nursing Home in Shawnee, Kansas.

Mary Lou was born November 4, 1935, in Atchison, Kansas, to John and Florence Kane and graduated from Atchison County High School. She married Ernest "Bud" Andre in 1958 and they moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Her greatest joy in life was her family and caring for others. She was a Personal Banker for 25 years and enjoyed working for Brotherhood Bank and Trust.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband Ernest; daughter, Tracy Smith (David) of Shawnee; two granddaughters, Cassidy and Jenna Doran; sisters, Lorene Boos and Patricia Rush; and brothers, Bud Kane, John Kane Jr., and Gene Kane. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doris Blankenship and Margaret Swendson; and brother, Elvin Kane.

Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2013, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello Road, Shawnee, Kansas, with a Funeral Mass immediately following. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas.
