Mary Ann Thurman, 88, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on June 3, 2018. She was born on Jan. 17, 1930, in Kansas City, MO, to John and Clara Hoover. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Snyder, Kathleen Miller, John E. Hoover Jr., Paul Hoover; grandson, Zachary Farr. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leo Thurman; children, Terry (Elizabeth) Thurman, Pamela (Jeffrey) Farr, Kimberly Hendricks; grandchildren, Mark (Krista) Farr, Michael (Annie) Farr, J.P. (Jessica) Thurman, Jason Thurman, Alycia (Trey) Johnson, Camille (Thomas) Senseman, Natalie Hendricks, Brandon Hendricks; great-grandchildren, Lily Farr, Alex Thurman, Jase Thurman, Rylee Farr, Andrew Talley, Samuel Farr, Braxton Farr, Addisyn Farr, and Amelia Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, from 9-10 a.m. at Cure’ of Ars Catholic Church with a funeral mass to immediately follow. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Raytown, MO.
