Mary B. Bridgens

Mary B. Bridgens, 81, of Roeland Park, KS, passed away on September 13th, 2018.  She was born on September 9th, 1937 in Bartlesville, OK to Esto and Mary Berkey.  Mary graduated from Kansas University with a degree in medical technology.  She went on to work at Saint Joseph Hospital where she met her husband, James Bridgens, MD.  Mary has done volunteer work, worked at an antique shop and enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as other hobbies.  She loved to read and was a lifelong pursuer of knowledge.  She traveled extensively with her husband all over the world, often to its most remote and unique regions.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Bridgens; and sister, Martha Sewell.  She is survived by her sisters, Sara E. Smith and Kathleen Byrd.
