Mary Frances Davidson, of Lenexa, passed from this life to the next early on the morning of December 24, 2015 at the age of 92.

Mary was born on October 10, 1923 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the second of the three children of Netta (Evans) and Harney Russell Satterwhite. A 1941 Wyandotte High School graduate, Mary Frances had a long career in banking. She married Robert Everett Davidson on April 16, 1945. They were married for 53 years, until his death in 1998.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Frances was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Thomas, and brother, Russell Satterwhite.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Anne Davidson and Robert Carl Davidson (Connie). Mary Frances also leaves her pride and joy, her grandsons, James Edward Davidson and Jeffrey Scott Davidson. Additionally, she leaves nieces, a nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Garden Terrace in Shawnee for their tender care of Mary Frances during her last months. A celebration of Mary Frances' life will be held for close family and friends early in the summer. We will all miss her terribly.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Mary Frances' will be laid to rest with her husband at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
