Mary Kathleen Drake, 85, passed away May 10, 2017 in Shawnee, Kansas.

Ms. Mary Kathleen "Nanie" Drake, daughter of the late Timothy Costellos and Delia Costellos, was born January 21, 1932, in New York. Mary spent 65 years in New Jersey before retiring.  After retirement, Mary moved to Kansas to be with her family in 1997. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor and friend.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished. Mary is survived by her only daughter, Bonnie Drake; three grandchildren, Lauren Szablewski, 36, Marc Szablewski, 33, and his wife Amy Szablewski, and Lindsay Foster, 33 and her husband, David Foster; three great grandchildren, Keaton Foster, 4, Henry Szablewski, 2 and Landon Foster, 1.

She was preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Timothy and Delia Costellos; her beloved cat, Dutch; and her dearest companion, Susie, "Dudu."

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Lakeview Townhomes and Condos at 5870 Park Street, Shawnee, KS 66213, from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
