Mary Anne Goetz, 88, Lenexa, KS passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, KS.

Mary Anne was born July 30, 1929 in Higginsville, MO to Robert L. and Kathleen A. Chamblin. She worked as an accountant most of her working career and the last 30 years with Michael Coughlin/ScriptPro. Her life was dedicated to her family. She was always physically and mentally supportive of her family in all their endeavors. She leaves a legacy of Love, Strength, Dedication and Family Values.

Mary Anne was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, Robert A. Goetz, and two granddaughters.

Her children will rise up and call her blessed. Mary Anne is survived by four sons, Bobby (Lynne) Goetz, Ronny (Kim) Goetz, Randy (Jill) Goetz, and Ricky (Kathi) Goetz; daughter, Debbie (Dave) Williams; two brothers, Bob Chamblin and Jimmy Chamblin; sister, Katherine Masden; sister-in-law, Carol Noland; nine grandchildren, Kim Combs, James Gentemann, Kelly McIntosh, Robby Goetz, Ami Goetz, Jeffrey Goetz, Timmy Goetz, Anne Goetz, and Eli Goetz; and five great grandchildren, Max, Spence, and Cannon Combs, and Allen and Elisa Gentemann.

Mary Anne's first response was always NO. She was a fast driver, once passing four cars before the stop sign at Roe and 83rd St. Mary Anne loved playing cards, playing on her iPad and searching google for all the latest news. She was a fan of old movies, musicals and anything with John Wayne. Mary Anne enjoyed music of all kinds, especially Big Bands. She hated Walmart, but, loved history and reading. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Dr., Lenexa, KS.   The Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5 also at the church.  Burial in the Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
