Mary Louise Link, 97 passed away November 30, 2012, at Sweet Life Skilled Nursing facility.

Mary was a life-time resident of the Kansas City area. Born February 20th 1915, to Frederick and Mary Nichols she grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Northeast High School. After high school she was employed at Luzier Cosmetics where she met her husband to be, Charles A. Link. They married in 1938 and were happily married for 67 years until Charles' passing in 2005.

Mary devoted her life to her family. She was a loving wife, homemaker and mother of three sons. Mary and her family lived in Merriam, Kansas for 48 years. She was a long time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Mission, Kansas, where she was active in a variety of church organizations and gave generously of her time and energy to numerous church projects.

Mary is survived by her three sons, David C. Link of Louisburg, Kansas, Gary F. Link of Roeland Park, Kansas, and Donald P. Link of Salt Lake, City, Utah; as well as five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson, Mission Kansas. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice, 8735 Rosehill Road, Suite 200, Lenexa, Kansas 66215.
