Mary Teresa Maupin, 69 of Mission, KS passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Teresa was born October 30, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Romain and Anna Joseph. Teresa graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1962. She is survived by her daughter Dana Barela; three sisters, Catherine Blankenship, Margaret Weakly and husband David, and Jeanette Vernon and husband Richard; and a brother, Albert Joseph and wife Sharon. and her dear friend William Hahn.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, September 27 at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee. A celebration of Teresa's life will be 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
