Mary E. Morris

Mary E. Morris, 86, passed away on February 11th, 2018. She was born on May 20th, 1931 in Everton, MO to Marvin and Rita Garton. Mary went to Ash Grove High School. She married Marion Morris on December 29th, 1947. Mary retired from the IRS after 30 years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She was heavily involved in her children's sports activities while they were growing up, even more than Shorty. Mary loved fishing, square dancing, and gardening. She is survived by daughter, Kay Warrem; son, Phil (Lynette) Morris; daughter, Ann McCain; daughter, Sandy (Jim) Brashears; son, Dave (LaDawna) Morris; son, Rob (Jackie) Morris; ten grandchildren along with fifteen great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Ruth and brothers, Charles and Jerry. The family would like to send a big thank you to the staff at Sunrise of Lenexa.

A Memorial service will be Friday, February 16th, 2018 at 6:00pm with a visitation to follow at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203.
