Mary Norberg

Mary H. (Hollingsworth) Norberg, 91, Leawood, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Grace Gardens Assisted Living.

Mary was born October 17, 1917 in Madison County, Iowa to Dennis and Bessie J. (Lorimor) Hollingsworth. On January 23, 1942, she married Emil T. Norberg. Mary was a member of the Merriam Music Study Club and P.E.O.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Emil T. Norberg, on Dec. 15, 1999. Survivors include her son, Eric Norberg, and his wife, Carolyn, Leawood, Kansas; daughter, Kathryn Azevedo and her husband, Ricardo, Ennis, TX; six grandchildren, Jason Norberg, and his wife Betsy, Justin Norberg, and his wife, Kendal, Celina Azevedo, Roger Azevedo and his wife, Angela, Ricky Azevedo, and Alex Azevedo; and four great grandchildren.

Inurnment

Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, Kansas.
