Mary Ellen Penner

Mary Ellen Penner, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on January 15th, 2019. She was born on December 25th, 1926 in Helena, OK.  Mary Ellen was an Honor Society Graduate of Helena High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Arthur Penner on January 25th, 1945. Mary Ellen and Arthur moved to Kansas City in 1953. They were members of United Methodist Church in Bonner Springs, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son. She is survived by her husband; one son; two daughters; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17th at Amos Family Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.

Memorial donations in Mary Ellen's name may be made to Interim Hospice.
