Mary Margie Stoll

Mary Margie Stoll, 91, of Overland Park, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.  She was born June 3, 1928 in Humansville, Missouri to the late Walter and Vee Stauffacher.  After graduating high school, Margie attended Kansas City Business School before being employed by the American Hereford Association.  There she met her future husband, Everett Stoll, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2016.  They were married on May 15, 1948 and celebrated 68 years of marriage.

Margie was a former member of Overland Park Christian Church for nearly 50 years.  In 1998 she became a dedicated member of Hillcrest Christian Church where she served several years as Keenagers president. She was a dedicated homemaker whose family was her central devotion of love and care.

Margie is survived by a sister, Ruby Sneed; three daughters, Cheryl DeMeyer; Donna Calvin and husband Corby; Debra Penix and husband James; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Penix; Stefan DeMeyer and wife Kristy; 5 granddaughters, Amy Randel and husband Dany; Johanna Penix; Brandien Pool and husband Richard; Mary Michelle Schlemmer and husband Christopher; Stacy DeMeyer and husband Tom Luzader; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

A celebration of Margie's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, at Hillcrest Christian Church, 11411 Quivira, Overland Park 66210.  The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hillcrest Christian Church.
