Mary E. Torrence, 75, Edwardsville, passed away Tuesday, July 28 surrounded by her loving family, at her home.

Mary was born February 8, 1940 to the late Frank and Winifred Rinehart in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked for JCPenney Distribution as a forklift operator for over 20 years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her sister, Wanda and daughter, Diana.

She is survived by her children, Wallace E. Torrence, Jr. (Mary); Cheryl Stone (Rick); Diana L. Torrence; Warren E. Torrence (Teresa); a sister, Wanda Foy; brother, Jack Rinehart; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Wallace E. Torrence, one sister and two brothers.

Visitation and Graveside Services

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 31 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow visitation at 11:30 am Friday at Shawnee Mission Memory Garden.
