Mary K. Womboldt

Mary K. Womboldt, 85, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away June 23, 2013.

Mary was born May 14, 1928, in Diamond, Missouri, to Lester and Hazel Anderson. She was united in marriage to Peter Womboldt, Jr., June 14, 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; by brothers, Martin and Glenn Anderson; and by sisters, Luva Boyer, Lorena Burnett, and Doris Daniels.

Mary is survived by her daughter Robin Moore and her husband Larry of Shawnee, Kansas; her granddaughter Jillian Randall and finace’, Brian Knippelmeyer of Woodland, California; sister-in-law Virginia McDaniel of Shawnee; and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland SPCA or a hospice of your choice.
