Mary Lee Freeman

Mary Lee Freeman, 77, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on the morning of May 21, 2022, and is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her father, William K. Murnahan, her mother Grace Berkley, and her brother William (Kenny) Murnahan.

She leaves behind her three children: Grace Hershberger (Brian), Elizabeth Thompson (Chad) and Jonathan Freeman; grandchildren: Brittany and James Gertis, Jarred and Wali Hershberger and Jordan Hershberger; and also her sisters Donna Wackerle and Grace Peterson.

Mary was loved and cherished by many people including her ex-husband and father of her three children Doyce Ray Freeman.  As well as her best friend Dotty Vaughn. She was a nurse for many years and truly loved to help other people. She enjoyed oil painting, her pets and trips to Branson with her grandchildren. Mary was an excellent cook. Her pumpkin and apple pies were legendary.

There will be no service for Mary Lee.
