Merlin Walker Smith

Merlin Walker Smith, 81, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Hospice House of Olathe, with family by his side.

Merlin was born November 6, 1937, in Augusta, New Jersey, to Linden B. and Olive A. (Walker) Smith.  He is survived by his sister Shirley (Smith) Hill, his three children, David A. Smith and his wife Tammy of Broomfield, Colorado, Michael S. Smith and his wife Christie of Shawnee, Kansas, Deborah A. Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana, granddaughter Stephanie Traver of Erie, Colorado, grandson Brandon of Humacao, Puerto Rico, and three great grandchildren Emma Traver, Hudson Smith, and Alex Traver.

A visitation will be held Tuesday evening, January 29th, from 6-7:30 p.m. and a celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30th, both at Amos Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee.
