Mervin L. McEndree, 77, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.
Mervin was born May 18, 1936, in Eskridge, Kansas, to Jessie E. and Carol M. McEndree. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. In 1964, Mervin and his wife, Jane, opened Jayhawk Camper Sales in Shawnee, Kansas.
Mervin was preceded in death by his wife, Jane on November 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Donna McEndree; two sons, Michael McEndree, Shawnee, Kansas and Mark and Kathy McEndree, Lenexa, Kansas; step-son, Fred and Lisa Couts, Shawnee, Kansas; step-daughter, Holly and Joe Cifferi, Liberty, Missouri; sister, Betty Gloe, Burlingame, California; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great granddaughter and six step great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the funeral home.
